John and I went to Carlos Bakery yesterday from the show Cake Boss. We stood in line for an hour. When we finally made it into the tiny bakery we had to make a decision without even seeing the merchandise it was so crowded. After a panicked order we realized we had no idea what the price would be. Prices were not posted or told to us either. John made an estimation of $80. I guessed around $35. Grand total for a large chocolate cannoli, napoleon, eclair, and strawberry chocolate cake = $13.50. That's right. That is a steal of a deal for NJ! We got some yummy treats, saw some reality t.v. celebrities, and got a great deal in the meantime!
And of course we ate the chocolate cake at 2 AM last night.
